Bridgeway Veterinary Specialists of Vancouver is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible veterinary ophthalmologist to join our growing small-animal referral hospital located in New Westminster, British Columbia.
About Our Practice
Bridgeway Veterinary Specialists of Vancouver is an owner-operated, non-corporate referral day-surgery practice. We are intentionally structured to provide a supportive, collegial environment where specialists can thrive clinically while maintaining balance and sustainability in their careers
Our current team includes:
· Two board-certified small-animal surgeons currently performing orthopedic, soft-tissue, and minimally invasive procedures
· Highly experienced Registered Veterinary Technologists, many with backgrounds in large referral hospitals
· Established referral relationships within the region
· A collaborative, low-turnover work environment
New Canon CT scanner is scheduled for installation in the coming months, expanding advanced diagnostic and procedural capabilities
The Opportunity
The incoming ophthalmologist will have the opportunity to:
· Develop and grow a dedicated ophthalmology service with full clinical autonomy
· Collaborative closely with surgery and anesthesia teams
· Participate in equipment selection and service development
· Practice with clinical autonomy in a well-supported setting
Ownership potential is available for candidates interested in long-term partnership.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience (expected annual range $200,000–$300,000)

Qualifications
· Board-certified or board-eligible (ACVO or equivalent)
· Eligibility for veterinary licensure in British Columbia
· Commitment to high standards of patient care and collaborative specialty practice
