Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Ophthalmologist, The Eye Vets, Nashville, TN

The Eye Vets is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible veterinary ophthalmologist (DACVO) to join our growing ophthalmology-exclusive practice in Nashville, Tennessee. We are open to full-time or part-time candidates who are excited about practicing high-quality medicine in a collaborative, design-forward, and rapidly growing specialty hospital.

Founded in 2023, The Eye Vets is a privately owned, ophthalmology-only practice built with intention—from the medicine we practice to the experience we create for clients, patients, referring veterinarians, and our team. Located in West Nashville, our hospital was thoughtfully renovated into a modern, welcoming space that reflects the elevated level of care we strive to provide every day. We are fully equipped to deliver comprehensive medical and surgical ophthalmic care and are supported by a highly trained, dedicated technical and client service team.

As an ophthalmologist at The Eye Vets, you will practice advanced, referral-based medicine with clinical autonomy while being supported by engaged leadership that values collaboration, mentorship, and continued growth. We have developed strong relationships with primary care and specialty partners throughout Tennessee and the surrounding region and are committed to being a trusted extension of our referral community.

We prioritize sustainable growth and a healthy work–life balance. Our anticipated full-time schedule is four days per week. Part-time arrangements can be tailored to fit individual goals and lifestyle preferences.

Nashville offers an exceptional quality of life with a vibrant restaurant and music scene, a thriving professional community, excellent schools, and abundant outdoor opportunities. With its combination of cultural energy and accessible cost of living relative to other major cities, Nashville is an outstanding place to build both a fulfilling career and a meaningful life outside of work.

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:

·         Health, dental, and vision insurance

·         Professional liability insurance

·         401(k) with employer contribution

·         CE allowance and paid CE time

·         Paid vacation

·         Paid parental leave time

·         Reimbursement for licensing fees and professional dues

·         Signing and relocation bonuses (as applicable)

This is an opportunity to join a growing, innovative, specialty practice where your voice matters and your expertise will help shape the future of ophthalmic care in our region.
