ACADEMY OF VETERINARY OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIANS (AVOT)

AVOT's continuing education meeting is held in conjunction with the ACVO conference but is a separate conference. The only events which 'overlap' are the receptions and dinners when they occur. All ACVO and AVOT attendees are invited to attend.

The ACVO does provide a registration category for technicians (on the ACVO registration form) to attend the ACVO meeting, but this allows the technican to only attend the ACVO confernece. Typically technicians benefit more by attending the AVOT meeting as its continuing education is designed for technicians.
