2026 ACVO Dues

ACVO Members, easily renew your 2026 dues online and avoid a lapse in benefits! For the first time, new members boarded in 2025 will receive a $100 discount to dues this first year of paid dues. We’re so happy to have you involved! Please note membership is only allowed for Diplomates of the ACVO.

The online form below has been updated and is now optimized for one member to renew per form.  Also, new this year, AMEX is now accepted, as are most bank debit cards. Checks can no longer be accepted. Please follow the steps below and if you choose to order the printed journal, the access code for the reduced rate will be supplied in the confirmation. Make sure to follow the instructions so that you are not prompted for the much higher, institutional rate.

STEPS FOR DUES RENEWAL

1. Complete the 2026 ACVO Dues form and submit it with credit card payment. The 2026 dues are: $595 for regular members and $297.50 for pre-approved retired members and pre-approved transitional members. Dues will increase by $50 on February 1st,  and by another $50 on March 1st.
2. If you are seeking retired or transitional status, please complete and submit the
2026 ACVO Retired/Transitional Status Category Application. If you were previously approved for the retired member category, you do not need to reapply. Those seeking Transitional Membership must apply annually, up to 5 years are allowed.

1. Circumstances will cause the Diplomate Member to practice veterinary ophthalmology less than eight hours per week for one year or more.
2. Dues forbearance may be extended up to five years provided the Diplomate Member submits an application to the BOR annually.

3. Printed Journal. The confirmation will provide you with a discount code and instructions if you wish to purchase the optional printed VO journal. Digital subscription is included with dues.

4. Update Membership Portal. After the form is submitted, you will receive an email stating that payment was submitted to renew dues but you still need to update your contact information in the member portal. This information MUST be updated annually to provide current information to the membership and the public for searches.

The customized member portal allows members to update contact and preference information at any time, all year. We encourage you to review and update your information and personal options annually. Review steps to get into your portal. Contact the ACVO Office if you need assistance.
