 Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital is building a brand-new outpatient practice in Hilltop, Denver and we are seeking a Board Certified or Residency Trained Ophthalmologist to join our team. 

This outpatient veterinary ophthalmology practice will offer specialized, advanced eye care for pets, working with general vets to diagnose and treat complex issues.

Given our track record of industry‑leading specialty medicine, we are confident that we are uniquely positioned to extend these services to our partner hospitals and deliver a truly differentiated outpatient offering for the community. With veterinary specialty services in the region still limited, establishing this Ophthalmology, Cardiology, and Dermatology practice will enable Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital to broaden its reach and meet a rapidly growing community need.

This candidate will work out of the Hilltop location but will have a scheduled surgery day at the main location for procedures requiring the Ophthalmology dedicated OR.

Schedule: 4-day work week. No on-call. No weekends.
