Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine - Ophthalmology Specialty Internship

The Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine is accepting applications for one ophthalmology specialty intern for the 2024-2025 academic year (July 15, 2024 through June 30, 2025). Candidates must hold a DVM, VMD, or equivalent and have completed a rotating internship. The successful candidate will join two faculty members, one resident, and two technicians on our busy ophthalmology service. We see a wide variety of small animal, large animal, exotics, and wildlife patients across our three hospitals on the Cummings campus. Specialty interns play a key role in teaching of rotating interns and veterinary students and participate in emergency coverage. Salary is $40,000 per year plus benefits. Candidates should submit a letter of intent, curriculum vitae including class rank and GPA, a PDF of your veterinary school transcript, and 3-4 letters of recommendation (letters will be reviewed in the order in which they are received and additional letters will not be read) to stephanie.pumphrey@tufts.edu.
