Ophthalmology Specialty Intern, Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, North Grafton, Massachusetts

The Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine is accepting applications for one ophthalmology specialty intern for the 2026-2027 academic year. Candidates must hold a DVM, VMD, or equivalent and have completed a rotating internship. The successful candidate will join three faculty members, one resident, and two technicians on our busy ophthalmology service. We see a wide variety of small animal, large animal, exotics, and wildlife patients across our three hospitals on the Cummings campus. Specialty interns play a key role in teaching of rotating interns and veterinary students and participate in emergency coverage.

We will be utilizing VIRMP for our selection process this year. Questions may be directed to Dr. Stephanie Pumphrey at stephanie.pumphrey@tufts.edu.
