Veterinary Eye Clinic (VEC) is seeking a board-certified veterinary ophthalmologist (DACVO) or residency-trained ophthalmologist to join our privately owned specialty practice at our Pomona, California location.

Our Pomona hospital has a high medical and surgical caseload, established referral base, experienced ophthalmology support staff, and advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment. An incoming ophthalmologist can step directly into a busy practice while still having opportunities to develop areas of special interest.

We are also looking to expand our equine ophthalmology department. A candidate interested in equine ophthalmology would have the opportunity to help develop and grow this service throughout Southern California, although an equine interest is not required.

Equipment & Technology

Our Pomona hospital is equipped with:

  • Stellaris phacoemulsification unit

  • Diode laser and endolaser

  • Portable operating microscope for equine, exotic, and mobile procedures

  • Photo UVC system

  • Keeler cryosurgery unit

  • ERG

  • Ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM)

  • Comprehensive ophthalmic diagnostic and surgical instrumentation
