Veterinary Ophthalmology Residency (ABVO-Approved), University of Pennsylvania

The University of Pennsylvania’s School of Veterinary Medicine welcomes applications for a 3-year ABVO-approved residency training program in veterinary ophthalmology beginning in July, 2027.  Residency training will be under the mentorship of a team of Diplomates of the American and European Colleges of Veterinary Ophthalmologists.  The program is designed to fulfil residency requirements of the ABVO, and to prepare residents for ABVO board certification.

  • Employment Requirements: Applicants must be a graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary school and have completed a 1-year rotating internship or at least 12 months of clinical veterinary experience.
