Why Ally Veterinary Specialty Center?

At Ally Veterinary Specialty Center, we believe veterinary medicine could be different, so we made it. We're a woman-owned and led independent boutique center dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized care to pets and their owners. As an established specialty practice expanding into new disciplines, we're looking for a passionate ophthalmologist ready to design their ideal practice.

This is a rare opportunity: You won't just join a practice, you'll shape one from the ground up alongside an innovative leadership team and collaborative specialists in dermatology, internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, and behavior.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a collaborative and entrepreneurial Veterinary Ophthalmologist to launch and lead ophthalmology services at Ally. Whether you're ready to begin in our current space or looking to transition over the coming months, you'll have a dedicated exam room and treatment space, with direct input on expanding and optimizing your ophthalmology program as we move into our new state-of-the-art facility in Fall 2027.

This role is ideal for someone who:

●        Wants autonomy in designing their workspace, workflow, and patient experience

●        Values a predictable schedule without ER transfers or emergency coverage

●        Thrives in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment

●        Seeks meaningful input on practice direction, technology choices, and team building

●        Is passionate about delivering exceptional care in an intimate, high-touch setting

●        Is excited about building something from the ground up while contributing to the vision for our expanded future

What Makes This Different

Your Own Practice Space

Unlike large corporate hospitals, you'll design your ophthalmology program from the foundation up. You'll have direct input on:

●        Exam room setup and equipment (including the latest diagnostic technology)

●        Treatment space configuration tailored to your clinical approach

●        Staffing structure and support team composition

●        Service offerings and patient experience protocols

The Collaborative Advantage

Work alongside a growing team of board-certified specialists who value cross-disciplinary care. Refer complex cases internally, collaborate on multi-system cases, and build a referral network in a supportive, non-competing environment.

Boutique Practice Model

As an out-patient specialty facility with no hospitalization or emergency services, you'll enjoy:

●        Predictable, manageable caseload

●        Flexible scheduling options for work-life balance

●        Focused diagnostic and therapeutic practice (no ER disruptions)

●        Deep relationships with referring veterinarians and pet owners

The Freedom to Build

Partner with an established, successful practice led by an oncologist who understands the challenges of specialty medicine. Have a voice in practice decisions, technology investments, and growth direction while enjoying the support structure you need to thrive.

Facility Highlights

●        State-of-the-art facility opening Fall 2027, designed with input from all specialist team members

●        High-quality equipment investments in the latest diagnostic and therapeutic technology

●        Dedicated ophthalmology space: One primary exam room + dedicated treatment space, positioned to deliver personalized, high-touch care
