Locum Opportunities at Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan

The Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences, Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada is currently searching for ACVO Diplomates interested in 1-2 week locums in Small Animal Ophthalmology.

The following dates are needed:

October 29-November 2 2018

January 7 – January 20,2019

January 21-February 3, 2019

February 18 – February 28, 2019

April 22 – April 28, 2019

Responsibilities include clinical service in the teaching hospital, including teaching/supervision of residents, interns and senior veterinary students.  Case load is varied but primarily small animal.

Remuneration consists of a weekly stipend of $5,000 (CAD) and return economy airfare.  We provide accommodations and a car rental.  Temporary licensure by the Saskatchewan Veterinary Medical Association is required with dues covered. Due to Canadian immigration policies, only residents of countries within the NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) can work in Canada. A non-NAFTA individual with a Canadian work permit is also eligible
