Metropolitan Veterinary Associates is seeking an additional Ophthalmologist to join our highly regarded team - we are looking for energetic, personable individuals with strong communication and interpersonal skills. We are the preferred specialty and emergency hospital in our region for companion animals. Privately owned and practicing out of a 25,000 square foot facility with state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, we have been providing the highest quality of veterinary medicine for over 31 years. Our hospital was recently recognized by AAHA as a finalist for the 2016 Referral Hospital of the Year award.

Our Ophthalmology service is newly equipped with an Alcon Centurion Vision System and further diagnostic capabilities include onsite MRI, CT scan, digital radiography, ultrasound, I131, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, echocardiography, electrocardiography, arthroscopy, thoracoscopy, laparoscopy, and in-house laboratory capabilities.

MVA's team is comprised of 28 board certified and residency trained doctors in 12 specialties, and an experienced support team of over 100 employees. In addition to ophthalmology, we offer cardiology, dentistry, dermatology, critical care / emergency services, internal medicine, interventional radiology, neurology, oncology, radiology and surgery (including minimally invasive surgery).
